I have often wondered about this part of BC, thanks for the interesting tour! Your description of the harrowing road reminded me of a white knuckle drive down into Bella Coola many years ago. I thought I might have to settle there or take the boat out as there was no way I was driving that route again.
Looking forward to more quilt posts, also to hearing of the Library quilt for 2017.

I only visited Bella Coola by boat, by freight steamer, actually, when I was in high school, but given the mountains pressing in on all sides I can believe that was a scary drive. Yes, the quilt posts are coming! Thanks for reading and commenting, Jill.
