Congratulations on finishing Ancient Artifacts --- I love what you did, especially the little thin dark wedges protruding into the lights. I was there at the onset of this project, remember? And sweating bullets too. I look forward to seeing how you will quilt this piece.

Yes you were, Myrna! You and I were back to back at our tables at this workshop. I think everyone in the room struggled and wrestled with this challenging class. But you completed your piece that same week, and very charming and colourful it is too. Thanks for your kind words about Ancient Artifact.

Amazing work of art Anne! You are fearless when it comes to design and as a cautious traditionalist I feel inspired by seeing your quilts. Thanks for sharing!

Well, thanks, Jill. I love the idea that I'm "fearless" in my quilting. I'd sure like to be, but sometimes it takes something like a big, challenging workshop with lots of new ideas to get me to push through to "fearless." I'm working on it. And in the meantime I'm basking in your praise.
